Did you know that 1 in 9 Australians suffer from asthma?
Among those 2.7 million people diagnosed with asthma, only 21% of people aged 15 and over have a written asthma action plan and 57% of children under 15.
This education session will provide nurses new to respiratory management with an overview of diagnosing and managing asthma and COPD in general practice. Improve your skills with a practical demonstration of performing spirometry.
This introductory education session is provided through the Practice Nurse Support Program (PNSP) supporting nurses new to general practice and is a recurring session.
